Flight Operations – Crew Planning and Control

JOB SCOPE  

• Ensuring that crew resources (both Pilot and Cabin Crew) are managed in the most efficient and cost effective way, in compliance with documented statutory and CAD regulatory requirements;
• Ensuring that all crew duties are accurately maintained in accordance with the approved FTL scheme and fatigue risk management policy;
• Prioritising safety and punctuality in all crewing decisions;
• Supervises daily operations;
• Ensures a quick and efficient reaction to delays/rerouting/aircraft change;
• Monitors current and potential issues regarding crew regulatory compliance;
• Reports all issues regarding crew roster to the Duty Manager;
• Organizes HOTAC and crew position cards;
• Accountable for determining safety risks in accordance with the risk assessment process and ensures appropriate steps are duly taken to reduce risk and achieve work safety;
• Maintaining and developing a professional standard of relations with Crew, other Line Departments and fellow team members;
•  Participating in Operations Control projects where required;
• Working effectively within a multi-base operation and multiple regulatory environments for crewing operations.

MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma (IV);
•  Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in aviation industry;
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet);
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
