JOB SCOPE

  • Responsible for all aspects of flight and crew planning taking into account training plans and annual leave
  • Responsible for planning flight crew strategy, managing reporting, and taking appropriate action to mitigate business risks associated with crew members
  • Responsible for all aspects of crew change plans including crew and other departments requests
  • Responsible for defining and determining logistic guidelines and instructions regarding the procedures, training and scheduling of crew duties in accordance with the rules and regulations
  • Responsible for planning flight crew strategy, managing reporting, and taking appropriate action to mitigate business risks associated with crew members
  • Manages the organization of hotel accommodation for the crew and manages the budget of per diems for the crew
  • Responsible for creating and administering all aspects of the development and monitoring of the flight plan in order to achieve a quality / clear / cost-effective solution while complying with complex aviation regulatory rules as well as regulations for cabin crew and flight crew
  • Responsible for rapid and efficient response in case of delay/rerouting/aircraft change to meet operational requirements
  • Ensures that the planning process produces economic and efficient results regarding crew planning, schedule and rotation
  • Responsible for efficient use of AIMS to its full potential in order to achieve an optimal flight plan
  • Ensures sufficient number of qualified crew members are available for the execution of the flight programme (and the anticipated flight programme), taking into account fleet type, flight schedule and rotation of employees
  • Employs practical work experience and expertise in establishing the planning process and resolving issues in crew plan changes
  • Advises all organization units in Operations regarding planning and cost-effectiveness
  • Cooperates with other company departments to ensure a smooth work process; Responsible for determining safety risks in accordance with the risk assessment process, and ensures that appropriate steps are duly taken to reduce risk to achieve work safety.

MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • University diploma (VII)
  • Minimum 5 years' of work experience
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)
  • English language - excellent, active.
