Chief Executive Officer – Legal Affairs

JOB SCOPE

• Responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance of the Company’s operations
• Coordinates issues of legal compliance with other relevant organization units of the Company
• Advises the Company on legal aspects and relationships that impact planned business, with special emphasis on EU regulations
• Drafts decisions related to meetings of the Supervisory Board and General Meeting of Air Serbia, ASC and ASGS, and provides support to all matters arising from the legal obligations of the companies
• Draws up internal acts of the Company (decisions, regulations …)
• Revises and comments on contracts
• Advises relevant organization units regarding their rights and obligations, including responsibilities defined by internal acts
• In order to perform his duties diligently, he is required to possess and continuously improve his knowledge of corporate law, intellectual property law, and aviation regulations (ECAA and EU regulations)
• Introduces, coordinates and controls business related to compliance and ethics in the following areas:Data protection, anti-fraud activities, anti-corruption activities, competition Law
• Identifies and assesses key risks and control mechanisms in business compliance;
• Receives and records (in the Journal of Ethics and Compliance) all reports of violations under the Air SERBIA Code of Business Conducts. Submits to the Chief Executive Officer and the Ethics Committee regular reports on reports from employees and non-staff
• Recommends corrective action plans to eliminate omissions identified during investigations. Monitors implementation of plans of the mentioned measures and their successful completion in cooperation with the Company management
• Assists in the development and implementation of online and offline training of Air SERBIA employees. Prepares the Air SERBIA annual business compliance training plan
• Works on the development and updating of domestic compliance policies, including: code of Business Conduct, data protection, anti-fraud, gifts and representation, investigations, supplier due diligence screening
• Ensures regular informing of Air SERBIA employees through newsletters and other media
• Compiles and conducts assessments of the effects of personal data processing
• Conducts a documented process to control internal data exchange
• Monitors the implementation and advising on the effects of activities related to personal data protection
• Represents a key point of contact with the competent authorities regarding possible complaints and misdemeanors and ensures that all requests for information are property processed
• Proactive approach to eliminating non-compliance, proving processes, through analysis of situations/processes and proposing/implementation of measures for full compliance of the Company with relevant regulations

 MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS

• University diploma (VII)- Faculty of Law
• Passed bar exam
• Minimum 3 years of work experience
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet)
• Proficiency in English – excellent, active
