WEB CONTENT OFFICER

Direct sales – E-commerce 

 JOB SCOPE

  • Generate and update web content (product, news, promotions, regulations, etc.)
  • Collaborate with agencies to increase operations and online sales (PPC -, e-marketing agency, etc.)
  • Plan, define, and implement web content changes and functional enhancements
  • Maintain and update web content online marketing plan
  • Identify potential opportunities for content creation in liaison with other departments (Corporate Communications, Social Media, Marketing, etc.) and external partners.
  • Monitor website KPIs and develop plans for its improvement
  • Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis of all content efforts, including pipeline of prospects, results of content projects (including impact to search engine rankings, link building and ultimately traffic / revenue).

 KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Understanding disciplines required to drive web content (PPC, e-mail marketing, link generating, online PR, SEO, offline marketing and PR, affiliate programs, etc.)
  • Experience using applications such as Excel and Photoshop
  • Computer literacy and basic understanding of web technologies (FTP, browsers, HTML basics, databases)
  • Data management experience
  • Experience working on websites, CMS, e-transactions
  • Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics will be considered an advantage

 JOB SPECIFICS

            Website:

  • Update information on product, promotion web content
  • Website posting of banners, photographs, promotions, etc.
  • Update CMS (copyrights and illustrations)
  • Identify and report any operative / technical problems
  • Incorporate and document current functional projects / website enhancements
  • Testing and installation of functional projects / enhancements
  • Liaise with internal resources and other departments in regard to daily website management
  • Consider approaches and strategies for improved sales conversion and guest engagement

            Marketing:

  • Understand and develop traffic sources (factors of): e-mail, SEO, PPC, social networks, catalogues, etc.
  • Liaise with agencies or internal teams for campaign implementation and support.
  • Research, assess, and rank new ways of generating additional traffic

MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree (VII)
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet)
  • Fluency in English
