Air SERBIA announces a position vacancy for: USA Sales Executives
JOB PURPOSE
To optimize all revenue and yield growth opportunities in the USA by analyzing and developing recommendations for all contractual, published and net fare pricing for review and approval by Pricing/VP Americas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate, analyse and consult on all corporate, net and published pricing, and agency incentives within the USA, and develop and present recommendations
- Provide expertise in relation to agency and corporate contract proposals, ROIFs and EVMs
- Analyse, evaluate and provide recommendations for all new and renewal proposals, utilizing all available reporting to ensure all viable opportunities have been optimized while maximizing yield growth opportunities and enabling VP Americas more time for customer-facing selling activities
- Evaluate and monitor published and net online and offline fares, ensuring Air Serbia’s competitiveness, and making recommendations if not competitive
- Evaluate contracted account performance and flag trends
- Review, evaluate and develop recommendations for all local market pricing issues, collaborating as the key interface between Sales and Pricing/VP Americas
- Other tasks may include evaluating key route performances, and recommend appropriate pricing actions to achieve goals; and develop and enhance corporate and agency dealing guidelines, focusing on growing mix of higher yielding RBDs, in partnership with VP Americas and Commercial Operations
MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of airline or travel industry experience with a minimum of two years in an airline sales role; ideally with an international airline
- University degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English language
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, customer service skills and the ability to prioritize
- Outstanding analytical skills including expert level Microsoft Excel
- Airline account management and sales distribution acumen
- Airline corporate dealing methodology and RFP experience
- Experience in negotiations and sales techniques
- Knowledge of Prism and MIDT reporting
- Strong Sabre knowledge
- Airline pricing and fare rules
- High standards of persona grooming and presentation
- Openness to consider relocation, subject to company and individual requirements
