Aircraft Technician 

JOB SCOPE 

• Ensure Maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
• Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand.
• Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft.
• Maintains a FOD free working area and cleans up bay area before and after work.
• Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development. Accepts appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
• Be proactively involved in all Health and Safety matters(SMS).
• Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the companies’ ethos.
• Ensures that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
• Ensures any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.

MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Level 2 ATA 104 type rating
• Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations
• High school diploma
• High computer literacy
• English language – intermediate level
• Minimum 1 year experience in Line/Base Maintenance Environment
