Position Summary

The candidate will become a member of the NCR Services Technology Team responsible for global implementation of the Oracle Enterprise Services and Changepoint Project Portfolio Management systems.  This organization partners with IT and NCR Services operations to architect world class, end-to-end technology solutions, spanning several functional areas. 

 

The Deployment Specialist is responsible for supporting technology deployments, ensuring deployment data quality, and providing support to business professionals during launch.

 

The Deployment Specialist collaborates with the Service Design Analysts to maintain the timeliness, quality, and completeness of the deployment-related data for his/her assigned business area.

 

When dealing with project related technical issues, they will determine when to escalate as incidents and following through the incident and problem management process.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Work closely with other members of the NCR Services Technology Team to implement a multi-functional business solution.
  • Assist with assigned portions of the roll out schedule and work with counterparts to insure the activities are performed and instituted.
  • Assist with the completion of the design documentation where applicable in each roll out for country and statutory specific requirements.
  • Responsible for specific unit testing and unit test data creation efforts and coordination/ support with the testing teams.  
  • Installation and testing of new customers, services or configurations.
  • Timely and detailed feedback on technology performance, reliability, serviceability, service quality and design issues.
  • Responsible for issue identification and status reporting at the deployment team level.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree or business related experience with technical background.
  • Strong understanding of current call management processes and systems.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, customer focused.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Ability to deal with multiple cultures and regional differences.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.

 

Preferred Qualification

  • Expertise in an industry or practice area.
  • Functional and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Field Service structure preferred.
  • Multi-lingual.
