About us

NCR Services Technology department is currently in the focus of initiative targeting to become Software and "As A Service" Company. Digital Connected Services Engineering team is looking for new colleagues in multiple areas as we expand as an end to end solution. We are agile team developing software across 4 major platforms and targeting devices with and without operating system. We do device management, analytics, software deployment, software and hardware interaction and with all of that we keep an accent on security, because we work with customer devices and data. Our software is used in and out of company and you can expect to work on large scale systems in real meaning of that phrase. As a small-mid size team, we try to keep the closeness, do some serious work and have fun.


What we require from you

  • Design, Develop and Deliver Software in Scrum(Agile) methodology using Jira tool
  • Develop flow charts as needed, be part of architecture process
  • Write unit tests and assist Quality Engineering team in integration testing
  • Commit often, Perfect Later, Publish once via Git(GitHub) version control
  • Work on automating and troubleshooting with DevOps team, debug as needed
  • Provide technical documentation and instructions to consultants and user documentation writers
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced and seek guidance from more experienced colleagues
  • Improve development processes
  • Participating in code reviewing process


What you would ideally know

  • Proficiency in C and/or C++ languages, preferably wide array of standards
  • Knowledge of Linux system tools and ecosystem
  • Proficiency in writing daemons
  • Knowledge of bash/shell scripting, linux kernel, creating linux packages(.deb,.rpm)
  • Experience with message queues, knowledge of boost and STL
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience with Relational and non-relational databases (proficiency in at least one)
  • Knowledge of network level programming and familiarity with networks in general
  • Familiarity with Thingworx SDK preferred
  • Familiarity with Azure IoT SDK preferred
