Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility  

The role will be to work as part of the Europe Services Project Management Office (PMO). Working primarily on global T&T implementation projects. The Implementation Manager manages the customer­specific projects with medium complex solutions that require the development of an installation plan. After customer contract sign­off, the Implementation manager assumes leadership of the project team and full accountability for all commitments made to the customer. The implementation manager will work under an assigned NCR project manager. The Implementation Manager will manage the day to tasks of the specific project/roll-out, as defined below.   Project/roll-out planning Project status reporting Database administration and creation. Coordinating with the IC (implementation coordination) group in Mumbai Prepping customer engineers Hosting customer meetings and calls Maintaining action and risk logs Billing and invoice reporting Ensuring service readiness in the relevant countries Escalation management Process definition and implementation Use of Project Management tools Financial reporting internally Basic Functions Plan, schedule, monitor, evaluate and direct projects to ensure a complete business solution is implemented.  Along with the Project Manager, creates and maintains project plans based on NCR PM methodology for executing projects. Establishes site preparation and installation requirements, and coordinates and contributes to the development of a customer­specific Customer Installation Guide.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a deployment schedule for engineers within a country
  • Manage the deployment schedule to ensure the dates and times are hit
  • Monitor the installation activity to ensure it is completed on time and at the right levels
  • Invoicing to the customer
  • Deployment status reporting to the customer
  • Escalation contact for the customer and the NCR engineers
  • Ensure documentation is completed by the engineers
  • Arrange site access for the engineers
  • Attend regular customer conference calls
  • Ensure engineers have the right parts for the jobs
  • Ensure the engineers are fully prepped for the job

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years in the IT services industry 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in working in a multinational environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Advanced MS XL skills
  • Experience interfacing with customers
